Jeremy Edward Shiok

Jeremy has lived in Alaska since 2000. A native of New England, his poetry has been featured in journals such as Inkwell, Common Ground Review, The Carnegie Mellon Poetry Review, The Gihon River Review, Colére, Rain and others. He received his MFA from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2003, and his first volume of poems, Mudseason & Other Poems, was published in English and Italian (translation by Giuliana Manganelli) in 2004 by Omnia Press (MicroArts, S.P.A., Genova, Italy). In 2007 he formed Cold Press Publishing, an independent publisher dedicated to the promotion of emerging poets and writers. Jeremy teaches in the undergraduate creative writing program at the University of Alaska Anchorage.


Brendan Noonan

Brendan received his MFA in 2005 from the University of Alaska Anchorage. His work has appeared in magazines like Runes and Blue, and has been featured at various events including the annual Fisher Poets Gathering in Astoria, Oregon. Brendan is currently completing a book about commercial fishing in Bristol Bay, Alaska. He lives in Rhode Island.
